I was requested to have a meeting with my supervisor and a consultant. They would not tell me what it was in regards to. During the meeting they then referred back to a off the record conversation I had with another employee the week before. (this employee called me) this employee called to say she was not fitting in with the team and I suggested to her during the conversation that it was possible due to the supervisor always telling the team what a great job she was doing and not giving anyone else positive feedback. I suggested to her that she might want to go to the supervisor and ask her to stop doing this...but that she could do this more in private as she was doing a good job. This conversation was then reported back to the supervisor to present me in a negative light to say don't work hard and that I was telling her to not be such a super star. The supervisor then had this meeting with me where she wanted to write me up for the conversation based on this persons perception of the conversation. This is the second time this supervisor has tried to reprimand me the other was when I requested her to provide me with what her expectations were regarding work in front of another colleague and she did not want to have that conversation. I want to know what to do as I feel she is trying to ruin the good reputation I have with this organization as I have not had one incident in the 2.5 years I was there but since she has come on I have had these two separate issues. What can I do. I have called hr and they say it is not a performance issue so she can not write it on my file but what can I do?
