At the hotel I work at, general house keepers are expected to clean human blood and spit off walls. my issue is...guest that leave such messes are charged an additional 300.00 for clean up of such mess. The house keepers make between 9-10$ an hr and are aloud 30 mins to clean a normal room. In the case of blood, spit or other outrageous messes they are aloud an extra 30 mins to clean the room. Thats a lot of money going into someones pocket. Is this a general practice among hotels or am I correct in assuming something isn't right with this?
