I am an administrator at an international school. We don't have a code of professionalism. I have a teacher who is a bully and works hard to undermined numerous staff members, even me and those above, who are not aware of the situation or don't realize what is happening. It has come to the point where some of the staff are actually getting a physical reaction when they are in this persons presence. Our senior admin are hesitant to do much as the bully is the spouse of one.
The bully is now talking to senior admin that she feel left out of situations with staff members and is overworked, has complained staff avoid her, seeking sympathy. As her direct superior, I have been told to sit with her and our superintendent (who is also under her influence) will be with me. Super. feels if we work things out all will see that the situation is solved. This is affecting me physically. I know I will look like the one who is not interested in solving the situation, not being professional, or compromising. Any suggestions.
