I have worked in an organization for 8 years, consistently exceed targets (sales) and generally have a good work history. Have a director who prior to being appointed director was supportive and encouraging. Now as director, she does and appraisal and brings up "bad behaviours" pretty much the only thing discussed in an appraisal, some have merit some are fabricated but too late to do anything about. She has done this to others in the past and they have resigned. I like my job (i need my job) but don't know what to do, I have a feeling she is setting me up for a false disciplinary action to get rid of me. She has a tendency to pick favorites to train and promote - till a point comes where they can go no further in the company, she picks new people to favour and - generally people on the receiving end of "being out of favour" quit. |
