I need clarification on federal bill C-451. The HR person at my employment office states this bill only applies to federal employees. HR claims discrimination only applies for race, sex, ethnic origin, colour, religion, marital status, family status, disability, pardon.
I am being psychologically harassed and bullied and they don't want to help me. They say this is an open door policy situation and that I should be talking with my immediate management.
Please clarify ... in bill C-451 it states "in every workplace under its authority, every employee is entitled to employment free of psychological harassment" .. this means every Canadian citizen and not just government employees.
