This is the problem the employee is having:
I work in a large room on a computer for graphics. By a vote (which I was unaware of except for one email from a fellow employee) they are stopping all overhead lighting and we have to buy or bring in our own desk lamps. I can barely see in one area where two people started this - no overhead lights. I had already disagreed with the person suggesting this. I found out today that I have to buy/bring a desk lamp. That's NOT enough light for the size of the room... 13 people on one side of a huge room with low partitions.

There are no windows or forms of natural lighting. This is totally illogical to me! From what I've read, it's not healthy with what they're doing. I'm not crazy about fluorescent lights, but at least I could see! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
